Nova Scotia rocks!

If you didn't know it, it does!!! A lot happened the last weeks... and I try to enjoy every second, that's why I didn't write the last time. We went skiing on Wednesday evening and thursday with a ll the internationals and it was awesome!!! I practised a lot of carving, so my bottom is really sour! ;) We didn't have school on Tuesday and wednesday, because of snowday. You'd think lucky me, but if there's no way to see your friends, when there's no school and the roads are bad, and you have about 2 weeks left, you don't enjoy it quiet that much.
Meanwhile, don't ask me how, Amanda and Alex planned a surprise party for Vanessa and me. Alex convinced us (Not really hard) to hang out with him in the Fair Trade Cafe on friday after school and a lot of our friends took the bus home or drove home with Amanda. SHe told us she had to go to work right after school, so she took the car in :P
So Alex asked us, if we want to hang out during the evening, we asked Ken (he knew everything!) and he agreed - surprise. When I opened the door and reached for the light switch, there were people jumping and shouting surprise - like in a movie. I jumped backwards! And then I couldn't start laughing and hugging them all: Klara, Kiki&Francois, Jesse&Collin, Toby, Cait, Daniel, Alex and Amanda - it was such a great evening! We played "Phase 10" and "Twister", ate pizza and Babaganouche (hope I spelled it right;)) and wathced "40 days and 40 nights" as well as "The Holiday", awesome movies! We had so much fun! Who ever reads that from you Canadian guys, you are the best! Thank you soooooooo much!
Yesterday, Daniel had his birthday party (he's turning 18 today) and it was awesome :) We watched a movie, played 'SPOONS" - have to teach you guys!!! And went to a frozen Basketball field, where we kinda skated around - so much fun! I enjoyed every second!
This morning, Ken pulled us behid the Four-wheeler on our snowboards through the yard- my legs hurt pretty bad, but it's so funny and through all the fresh powder - excellent!
No I gotta go and study Cal and for my Bio-exam... Blahhhhhh
This week is the last regualr school week for me:( afterwards we have Exams, that means there won't be regular classes...
Well, anyways, please don't be angry if this is the only thing you here from me before I come home, but I wanna live every second of the time that is left!
See ya soon :)/:(
Shalom

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

I wish you all the happiest new year you can think of! My start into 2008 was awesome! We had a family party and our best friends came over :) and we started with a big snowball fight, movie and twister :) and a lot of good foooooooooooooooooood!!!
Well, Alex and me started after 3 hours of sleep into a wonderful day of skiing! It was awesome, it had snowed the whole weekend, so it was powdery:) and sunny and just a beautiful, georgius day! Even we were soooo tired... we didn't care! We skied from 10.30 until 4.30 with 30 minutes break! Call us crazy- it was the best! Then we visited his oma and ope (they are from holland) and I got MAGGI and REAL GOUDA!!!!! I freaked out a little bit - sooooo good!
Afterwards (meanwhile Alex and me are on the stage when tiredness turns into hyperness!!!) we went sledding with Amanda, Vanessa, Daniel, Collin, Brandon and Ethan. That's our little group, we often do stuff together :) and had sooo mcuh fun! It was dark and we did a lot of crazy stuff, before we made snowangels in a football field... After that we had hot Chocolate and played Cards.... Just the perfect day!!! People around here say, what you do on the 1st of January represents 2008.... I really hope!!!! That would mean a lot of fun outside, good music and people around who care! And I'd live in Nova Scotia! Perfect!
I'm adding pictures from sledding...
